When i got home, i asked the local cop about it. He said there were massive fines set out to protect these private operaters from attack.
As i'm sure some bricky on the way from a hard day has doubled back and grabbed the operater by the throat before after he was flashed.

So it maye be a case of both z80 (Police Fine and further Civil Action)

I would be interested to know what Technology is being used in those poles.... as i doubt it is going to be the old K Band.
