Default Changing ISP's - Your Recommendation

    Hi Guy's

My ISP has changed from a $39.95 ADSL1 512/128 10GB package and have upped it to $52.95 with no extra's....just a price hike.....

So I'm looking for a new ISP.....

Does anybody have anything bad to say about the service of the following ISP's:

Internode (Looking at the 1500/256 20GB for $49.95)

TPG (Looking at the Ultimate 512/128 10GB+15GB for $39.95)

Netspace (Looking at the 1500 Super 15 for $49.95)

So anyone had issues or wouldn't recommend either Inetrnode TPG or Netspace ?

Phone your ISP first and ask them for a better deal.

Tell them you've checked out at whirlpool and that your not prepared to pay the extra cost without a speed increase.

You have nothing to loose. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

If they come to the party you get to save the churn fee and a bit of hassle...

I used to be with internode and they were very good at the time but i heard they're not quiet as good these days. ive had terrible experience with iinet, ie packet loss for about 6 or 7 months strieght on the phone to them nearly every day and being told it was my line whilst telstra was telling me it was my isp. it was iinet's end they fixed it eventually.

Internode are great. You could also consider their " Easy Broadband " offer. I have been with them for a couple of years and cant remember any downtime.

Ironically, I am churning to Telstra They are offering the best deal for what I want at the moment.

TPG have good deals, but their customer service and tech support sections (even customer relations / complaints dept) are HORRIBLE. If you have speed issues, their last concern is fixing it for you. I've (reluctantly) been with them for just over 6 months now and won't choose them again once I have moved. Some of the above deals seem good though...

I moved to Internode about 18 months ago and I've never looked back.
