I jumped ship from node on Thursday, waiting to change ...am in zone 3,so cant get ADSL2+ with node.
Changed to Telstra $128 Home bundle ...already had Homeline Ultimate and mobile phone on one bill....so really will be getting 100gig at ADSL2+ speed for nothing.
Only thing i dont like about it is 24month contract...but what the heck will saving $50 a month and making free calls to telstra mobiles now

    Cheers

I got a Customer service officer in Melb when i called and it was actually quite painless and quick (for telstra) to change and do rapid transfer...quite impressed.
Considering i paid 10months terminating fee for leaving bigpond on a previous contract to go to node ...just hope the b******** dont stuff up again...lol....otherwise i'll be paying another etc lolol

More than happy here after a couple of months ( I think ). I thought they had over charged me on the first bill but it worked out after about 5 minutes of reading and calculating Uptime has been 100%.

I am so glad to be living in Asia. Looking at what I would have to pay in Australia for broadband makes me glad I am not there any more.

I pay AUD$75 for a 100mb download and 10mb upload on a fixed IP fiber line with uncapped usage, and no throttling. Sure does make an interesting comparison.

I am so glad to be living in Australia rather than Asia. Personally, the only thing I care about internet wise is reliability. Which I have. For $25 a month cheaper than you

Australia is an ok place to live, must be my family are still there.

I am sure you are paying for 10mb up and 100mb down for $25 a month less than I am

Even basic broadband of 10mb down 2mb up which are uncapped unthrottled are only about US$30 a month here

Rang the reps yesterday and jumped ship.

Going for the 200gb liberty for $89. Can't really beat it imo.

Just wondering what kind of speeds you guys are hitting on ADSL2+ and how far away from the exchanges ect.

WooHoo !!!! I just got an email from Internode - and changed my plan from $100/120gig to $100/240gig !!! Double the amount - same cost !! ..and I keep my usenet, and uploads dont count !!!
I knew eventually sticking with node would pay off !!!

    Cheers.
When I was a kid, I used to have an imaginary friend. I thought he went everywhere with me. I could talk to him and he could hear me, and he could grant me wishes and stuff too. But then I grew up, and stopped going to church.

Jeez great deals and such but could their customer service be any worse?

Four calls to them so far. First they said plan approved, wait for churn we will take care of everything. Ring back next day (25 min convo) "oh I can't do this you have to ring bigpond. Ring Bigpond plan declined. Turns out they declined the wrong person with the same name as me (45 min convo) :|. Plan approved, gave me no receipt number before hanging up. Wait another day, ring "Oh you have to sign up for fast churn yourself didn't the rep tell you that?". *signs up for rapid transfer.. Login details don't work now.

Can't wait to ring tech support .

Happy with optus's new speed plans atm.

Was part of optus's docsis3 trial speed is awesome... they just released these plans about a week ago.

    $49.99 gets me 120GB + $20 for the 100Mbps speedpack.

If currently on cotract speedpack cost you $15 not available on all plans.

    Cable only.
