Could i grab a code for a '98 Barina
VIN: W0L0SBF08X4114785

* I have a little card saying "Opel Car Pass" on one side and it has the engine type and VIN on the other side aswell as room for the radio code (which is blank). The is a "Security Code" line with 4 digits - does anyone know what this might be - some of the digits are 9 and 7 which can't be entered into the stereo as the stereo only has buttons with numbers up to 6.

That number with the 9 and 7 is your immobiliser security code,you need it to program control units after replacement.

My CG Captiva was recently serviced, and when it came out of servicing I found that the radio requires a code to operate! I looked all over for the 'security card' but found nothing.

I saw that other people have posted their VIN numbers, and have been able to get some assistance, so I was wondering whether you could help me?

I just received my fiance's Holden Barina back from the repairer (for the third time, as the repair job was shocking.) after she was hit at 80 kmph from behind, couldn't believe they even attempted to repair it.
Anyways just got it back for the third time and they have forgotten to program the radio. Does anyone know the radio code for a

Hi guys,

Just after the radio code for the missus 2006 TK Barina. Pulled the radio fuse after trying to fix the electric mirrors that stopped working.

Don't know which fuse controls the electric mirrors by any chance as well??

Just got my 2006 Barina TK back from the smash repairers. A car swiped the back of mine and when I got it back today....sure enough the radio was asking for a code.

If anyone could help, that would be fantastic!! I dread the thought of driving to work without any tunes.

Hi, I'm having the same problem as a lot of you here... The battery of my 2006 Holden TK Barina clapped out, I got it replaced, but the CD/mp3 player security code has been scragged... I called Holden, and the girl gave me a 4-digit code, but the buttons in the player only go from 1-6, and 3 of the 4 digits of the code the girl gave me aren't any of those numbers! The girl said something about how, if the code she gave me doesn't work, I can contact the maker of the player (?) by fax (?) and they can give me the code...for $220!

Can I get the code from someone here? Cheers in advance!!

No. I checked the CD/mp3 manual guide, and there's no instruction about toggling to get numbers that aren't 1-6 - the implication being that the code should only be numbers from 1-6.

Anyway, I called a different Holden dealership today, and the girl in their service department gave me the car's immobilizer code, which she said could be the same as the CD player code. It worked! (and the four numbers fall between 1-6...)

Before I tried it out, she said if it didn't work, my option would be to take the car to a dealership, have them remove the player to retrieve the serial number from the back, and then fax the number to someone else to get the code, but this would cost money. I guess that's what the other girl I spoke to yesterday was talking about!

Anyway, I'm gonna make damn sure I remember/write down somewhere the code I got today so this situation doesn't happen again!
