ROFPMSL, congrats Zed, trust you to give the coppers a hard time.
Just got home with yes..another new VRX for the other boy.
As mentioned the dealer in adelaide had the TMR380 beast there.
Its serial number #3 out of 20.
Just negotiating it in the morning....they are a bit optimistic...
But it is quite an awesome machine, recaro seats etc.
It's in Nailsworth, Main North road, in the corner of the showroom if anyone wants a perv.
they won't take it out on the road for tests....bugger...
BTW just drove today from Adelaide, in peak hour traffic all the way to Torquay with only one cop chasing me at Horsham.
(had no plates on the car)
Just a permit to get it home....he was so-o-o-o excited when i gave it a bit of a squirt and a chase...LOL...thought he had a stolen car....
ROFPMSL, congrats Zed, trust you to give the coppers a hard time.
If I can keep the missus happy for just another day, I am off to SA Sunday night to pick up the little red beast....
She is gunna be pissed with me...but what the hell....
I am kind of surprised they didn't add the AWD to that 380 z80.
Nice looking street car, would be a great ride around the ocean road
good news...am in Adelaide driving the supercharged TMR380.
shit it's nice.....
Ahhh thats great.
So Zed, are you going to have the balls to opener her up on the way home?
Please note before you get all exited and hit the load pedal that the road back is well known for hiddern police vehicles.
Lets also not forget that your going to run her in.....right? Lol
Welcome to the world of performance motoring.
Enjoy your stay.
Oh and try not to lose your license mate.
Can you take me for a spin in it mate
When you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all
Pfft He has a Red supercharged car, he will be here tonight
When you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all
hehehehe....tommorrow a bit of fun on Highway #1....
Forgot the best bit.......
#3
mate congratualtiosn your oging to havea lot of fun with that! if you dont mind me asking how much was it drive away???
Nice zed.
The only personal critisism is the cheap design of perfomance badge on the rear, i think they could have done a better, more deserving, ballsy badge.
The interior looks great.
My favorite angle is the rear....yummmmy twin exhausts.
I noted that the supercharger is mounted high near the firewall which should let the gorgeous sound of the supercharger into the cabin...nice.
One question zed.
Did you ask the service department how they change the sparkplugs on the rear bank of cylinders?
Not a job for a backyarder.
Nice Zed.....very nice.
sweet ride old boy
Lol i can just picture someone with a angle grinder cutting a large hole from inside the car to get to them.
I did see a 60's Holden with a screwed on plate under the vinal floor covering once on a firewall.
The owner of the car said it was easyer to make a hole in the firewall than to take out the engine to change the rusted rear welsh plug.
Im pretty sure that it would have long life plugs (100k to 150k km).
Hate to see the labour bill though.
I think the idea is to sell and update before the sparkplugs need changing.
The plugs on the firewall are platinum plugs...good for 100,000k plus they told me.
So will take a while to do in this little baby....
Interesting the throttle is completely electronic...no throttle cable....just electronic digital output sensor.
