| Senior Member | It was for sale on ebay last year. Had lots of interest but they were all lookers doing up their own MM. Just wanting to pick my brains about what can be done & how hard it is to do. I was going to put the money into a MM ute I have that will be transplanted onto a suzuki 4wd chassis. So much to do & so little time. I will still sell it if anyone is interested.

I'm into the early planning stages for the rebuild & wondering about cruise control. I have a setup off a 1992 pajero that I'm thinking of using. Can anyone tell me how they work as far as what they use for reference inputs? thanks

They count the pulses from a sensor on the tailshaft...often magnets glued on..the sensor a coil... When you press the cruise button it activates a vaccuum diaphram which has an accelerator cable linked to the throttle body. A wire to the brake light switches resets it. But...watch out...later cars have drive by wire...no accelerator cable etc. That...is a lot harder... | |

![]() | Have a wander to over here. The Cruise Control Store Plent of installation manuals, parts and explinations. It should help you get your head around it and show all the latest conversion parts. Their not all vacuum operated some have servo motors now in the conversion kits. |
