Just got this sent to me, its a slide show on that beast of a car from Bugatti / Volkswagen. Very interesting.

Does anyone really rate the Veyron? 400+ km/h is all good but it's an ugly car.

Nice....carbon composite city.

The rear wing goes vertical under braking like a fighter jets air brakes.

Lets stop and think about it. A w16 engine with 4 turbochargers producing 1001hp.
Ive seen heaps of normally aspirated v8's producing well over 500hp. If you think about combining 2 of these engines and turbocharging, the hp output is nothing special.
Shit, 1000hp in a Skyline 6 with a single turbo is not uncommon today.

Here is a old short clip of a Bugatti in yellow and black like an angry bumble bee on a track day in europe, a TVR speed 12, a nut case with a death wish on a Hayabusa (looks like in Melbourne, unsure) and a 1000hp GTR.
