FS: Hail Damaged 1991 BMW 320i E36....

I have for sale 1991 BMW 320i E36 for sale...

The car has some hail damage in fair condition...

I accept any reasonable offers.....

Inspection wellcome....

Car has about 243k kms with log books....

Rego till 19th Feb 08......

No Insurance Claim...

It's automatic, six cyl, electric windows/mirrors, power steering, ABS etc...

It has sun roof, wing, alloys with good tyres etc...

Color is dark blue.....

Car needs body/paint work but can be driven as is...

Front windscreen needs replacement due to crack caused by hail...

Sydney buyers only but can be sold to interstate if the buyer can arrange its transport...

I will have many things to be sold due to relocation to overseas....

I did not bother for a quote as I was overseas and got back before christmas and had a long holiday with my kids as I will be moving to overseas for good...

I'm looking around $4K range....but open to any reasonable offer...

This car was advertised elsewhere so if it sells there the ad here will be closed...

4 k sounds a very fair price, you don't say if it's auto or manual, but red book quote $7200 auto and $6500 for manual. As to the hail damage, you would need to see it, to work out the repair cost, But if you say a grand for the damage, and 500 for a 2nd hand screen. Your still getting a cheap car.
it sounds like the old model with the Feb rego, the new model came out in May

This is the new model...E36 and Automatic....

You can get the screen replaced for $200....as I did it few years ago for my 1997 323...

hail damage and the paint job would cost about $1K and the interiour with a leather seats/trims about $300-$500 from ebay...

So, it's still very cheap for BMW 320i Auto E36 which is 2.0 L 6 cyl very powerful car....

I am shocked to see how expensive BMW's here are. I am not saying that you are asking for too much, dont get me wrong. I used to live in europe until 3 years ago and was able to buy a identical car for about 1500.-

Did you check how much the market value of the same car?....I'm asking peanuts for this as I know that I can not get it the same asking price for myself.

I would not sell it if I was not going to overseas for a long time...

Unfortunatelly, 2008 started with shitty events and this is one of them...

Thanks for your comment and believe me the price for this car would be very different in european countries...such as Germany, France, Italy...big difference between them...

Anyway, thanks for the inputs and hope to sell it to someone who would make it much nicer than what I was planning...

I would go $600 for the windscreen to get a genuine one,

(is it the one with integrated aerial? they cost more..)

Can't see the hail damage and respray less than $3500.

Best offer I can make is $1350.

Some of the quotations for repairs here are ridiculous.

Z80s quotes are on the ball.

Sons freind just bought a 1997 318is coupe with emaculate body and paint for 8k, black with low mileage, tinted widows, lowered, sunroof and 11 months reg.

The car cannot be worth much.

Has anyone taken note of the milage, and the amount of panel work and a full respray?

the guys are correct. I had the side of my WRX painted last week and it cost $1200. I would think you would buy this car and not bother to fix the hail damage unless you were going to do it yourself.
Replacement winscreen would be $300.
