Optus Cable smart card and dream

Hi,
I currently have foxtel sat with nds card which im using in my dm7000s. I dont want to give up my dream for the crappy provider boxes.

Anyway my question is when you connect to foxtel on optus cable are the cards 100% compatible with dream? My biggest concern is new cards and new camcrypt as there is a new CAID in the stream 0x096C along with the usual 0x090B.

So can someone please confirm a recent connection with optus that there card works in there dreambox.

PS. If anyone is interested in the Videoguard2 camcrypt algo have the look at VDR-SC plugin, its source code is in there.

yes they work fine in the dream card slot.

Hi, I just bought the Dreambox 5000 C, does that mean it won't work with a Dish?

Foxtel cable or sat is only NDS. Austar is ID2

Foxtel Sat is ID2 & NDS. Foxtel cable NDS only. Austar is ID2 only.

I dont think you can get Foxtel sat in ID2 only NDS.
