lightscribe problems?

i have a pioneer dvr-213np writer & i'm trying to get the lightscribe side working.i have tried nero 7 ultra & surething 5 but i cant seem to find any option to use lightscribe.it does not give any indication that i even have a lightscribe writer there?it just shows the normal printer with no option to pick anything else.any ideas greatly appreciated.

Have you got LSS installed ?

dose your drive have factory firmware

thanks for the quick replies.INFO you hit the nail on the head.didnt know i needed this as well.surething now works fine but nero still wont show anything.do i need to reinstall nero now that i have the LSS on?

does anyone know where you can buy a copy of surething from in australia or a secure site?i tried surething direct but they want $33 for postage which seems extreme
