Default Ripping prob with transformers - revenge of fallen, is it new protection?

Hi,

Today I tried to rip original retail version of Transformers - Revenge of the Fallen and it kept coming up with an unexpected error.

The disc looks fine with no big marks or scratches.

I tried ANYDVD to rip it and then tried with dvd decryptor. both came up with errors. the version of of anydvd is 6.4.2.2 i think

Any ideas?

Thanks

There appeared to be similar issues with Star Trek recently, I suggest you follow that thread and it might give you some answers

Anydvd v6.5.9.5 worked OK for Transformers Revenge of the Fallen, although I couldn't rip it directly to an iso, could rip to an avi OK. Probably could have ripped to vobs as well, but didn't try. See

Transformers ripped OK for me with AnyDVD 6.4.7.6 and DVDshrink. Star Trek was far more difficult.
