| Member | HI Hope this right place? ...anyway I'm looking to move across to Linux (Ubuntu or Mandriva) and was wondering if anyone knows of a good program that will rip & burn dvd's in Linux? In Windoze I use AnyDvd & CloneDvd to do the job, anything similiar for linux? thank you! |

![]() | I use K9copy for DVD ripping to a copy; and AcidRip for encoding to a compressed file.

![]() | Why the need for awkward extra software like acidrip, dvd decryptor, etc? K9copy will rip and shrink or decode and convert to Divx or any other codec you have installed and even have K3b loaded with the finished image and ready to fire, just with a mouse click. |
