To up the speed it's in your burning software, but be careful if you go to fast the copies might be dodgy.

Hi Phil,

Still need the discs to cart around to play elsewhere, but I like the idea.

Cheers

Hi Joezep,

Yes I was told you really shoudn't be burning any faster anyway, but I was hoping it would rip faster at least, not worried though at least its up and running.

Thanks

I don't burn ANYTHING faster than 4x.

What's the point? All you do is increase the chance of introducing errors into the copy, which defeats the whole purpose. If possible, I'll burn at 2x or if it's available, 1x - at least the copies are always good.

Heck, put the disc in to burn, go away and have a coffee or take the dog for a walk for 20 minutes while it does its thing.

Point taken Studio 1, but I am curious does the ripping speed increase because it is a 20 x speed burner or does this figure relate to burn speed only?
