anydvd initialisaton error

I hope this is the right area to post this, after the the problems of losing my dvd drive last night I now find I'm the following error message with my cracked copy of anydvd 6.4.3.2

No dvd drive detected!

I have tried rebooting, uninstalling,reinstalling, to overcome but the error message still comes up.

it still appears to be ripping dvd's ok it get no errors at this stage, I have the region set the same as the dvd drive which is region 4.

are there any other settings that I might be able to try?

Hey Phill....its been ages since i've done these, and I've completely forgotten where to put the generated file?

put generator in program folder then use it.

Hi Phill...I placed the generator in the program folder and its a no go I'm afraid.
it generated the patch for the keyfile, Reganydvd file was already patched & it tried to patch the tray.exe,, ut doesn't appear to have fixed the issue, I'll have a look around for another patach and see how I go.

double click the reganydvd icon
choose the reg file you created.

HI Phill...just tried that now and all is working

, so i guess I wasn't registering the files properly after installing.
