Too frequency Power on and off may cause defeat.
Looks like this manual was never originally written in English - reaks of a language interpreter like Google!

Personally, the old and trusted MFJ-948 (same price of $249 at ) would do the job + added ability to physically tune the antenna. No issues about flat batteries!

Once one gets past the i-phadness, does this device truly deliver good value?

The device is not meant to tune the antenna but allow you to get a visual representation of resonance and impedance. Which it does very well.
Then allowing you to tune the antenna. (so you dont need the tuner)

    You tuner cannot do that.

You can easily see, at the same time, multi resonance points of your trapped dipole or vertical or see the resonant points of your OCF dipole etc.

I have seen one working, its very "cool"
I have an MFJ259 analyser, which the FG01 wont replace but its visual display is better that a single point swr of the mfj 259.

It is a device i would add to the DXpedition kit.

have a look at the youtube vids on the Youkits site, very informative.

Has anyone used this device or similar stuff alongside some equipment with better credentials and compared the results? As someone not automatically impressed when information from a traditional moving meter is now displayed on a new Chinese LCD gadget, I would be curious to see how it performs.
