patched firmware for strong 4652?

there used to be thread with link to one

if someone got firmware 1.05p or higher for 4652 (aka x2 if i remember right) i would be most greatfull

I found this firmware SRT4620X_4651X_4654X_108p_20070627.stb on my computer and it may be suitable for a 4652 but as I don't have a 4652, I can't be 100% sure.
Maybe someone else can confirm.
I note that yours does not have an x so it may not be ok but here it is anyway

i don't believe X firmwares can go on the older models, not sure 100% but never seen anyone confirming that it would work.

And isn't the 4620x the same as the 4658x? As noted above I don't believe the 'x' firmwares are backward compatible.

may be the one you need. It is a p version so should have the hidden menus and seems its for a 4652. Again, I have not tested this.

Probably sound great, although I've not got a RS232 outlet on my Fujitsu computer but my friend have one with it. I will check it out there and have it downloaded to my Strong SRT 4652 decoder, then will inform you about the result.

Well, last week the other website featured 'p' download ( ) and made it very well as the result is rather amiss 'cause after entered the code and it doesn't work accordingly ( code for cracking at Optus C1 of Aurora ). The 'bogus' download version in my SRT 4652 is Model : SRT 4652
S/W Version : 1.68p ( Dec 29 2006 )
H/W Version : 1.12
Boot Version : 2.10 ( 0b:13 )
CH Version : AUG 16 2006.

Maybe your version will undo that current version.

here is 110p which is good for CS. dont be fooled, its not later than the 107 from the manufacture. Again not sure if it works with non x models

If it isn't compatible, it will tell you before you load it via the Strong loader (RS232). How does the 110p version work good for CS??? Strongs can only be connected via season interface can't they for CS?
