    Default Problems with Strong 4664X

I have just recently purchase a strong 4664x box and I can't set it up for D3 - I can scan C1 but when I go to delete all the unwanted channels the box keeps turning off and resetting - Can any one tell me how to set up D3 - My location is Perth. I tried the details in the info from beer4life however it doesn't seem to work - cheers - hope someone can help

what LNB are you using? 11300 won't get the D3 freq. You need a 10700.

When deleting channels, try only doing a few at a time. I found this initially to be the only way to avoid rebooting.

Don't forget you probably have heaps of radio channels too, so go into radio and delete everything in there you don't need (if like me it will be all of them).

Depending what you need to keep of the TV channels, it may be simpler and faster to do a factory default reset of the box and start from scratch.

C1 and D3 are co-located, so any scan on C1 should also find the D3 signals, however, you must use a 10700 (or universal) LNB as D3 signals are below what an 11300 LNB can receive.

You can add a separate list for just D3 if you want, but I'd suggest getting the above done first before we tackle that one, if needed.

    Hope this helps.
