Mediastar HD8200s FTP Settings/newcamd config file?

I recently bought a Mediastar HD8200s and noticed that it supported FTP. I was wondering if anybody knew the username and password required to connect to the box. On the same subject, is it possible to read/write a config file for newcamd via FTP?

Try,

username: mediastar

password: 000000

works on the Mediastar HDX9100.....not sure if this will work with the HD8200s ?

root and dreambox will get you in.

Anyone know where the config files would be kept?

I see a bin and modules folder, but i dont know what's going on :S

/var/etc/xcamclient.conf

You can also run xcamconfigure in the plugins menu and enter your details there also with no need to ftp.
