Are you using a card? If so did you update the MCAS plugin as well?

Getting a bit tired of turning this dam box off and then on again after it 'freezes' all the time. Mainly happening when you go to change stations.
Been a lot worse since updating to this latest firmware 2.10.11.
Never had this problem when it had the original firmware which was about 9 months ago.
Has anyone found a solution yet. I know I am not the only one having this problem.???
Works great apart from this.

i am getting this problem with the POWERS 900 HD
Xcruiser + The Thylacine Plugin
I still have locking up issues too. Latest firmware & MCAS firmware. Often the picture just starts to pixelate and go in slow motion, other times it freezes completely. Sometimes when I turn tv on, it has done it while I'm away so not as if I was doing something at the time. I'm going to need a new remote, my on/off button gets that much use
I had a similar issue once I updated the firmware, I chose to restore from a saved point. I updated the box with the same firmware, formatted user data and rebooted the box. Reconfigured the box and installed the latest plugin from Leroy's post and all working no worries. Haven't had an issue for over a month now.
The plugins you use need to match the firmware you are using.
I've found that with the latest 9200 firmware the pic starts this slow motion thing then locks after being on a channel all night and you go to change the channel and the channel you change to does it. Not every day but enough to be annoying. Anyway i reported it there is a new fw about to be released.

900 hd locks up daily , some times more than once.
downloading a few pages of 7 day epg almost certainly crashes it.
That's exactly what happens to mine LeRoy. The 'overnight' thing seems to be the problem. Once it is going, after a reboot, it seems ok. Changing the channel does it usually first time after not using for a while.
Have updated the MCas a while back, not sure if it is the very latest.
Wait for the next Firmware update I suppose
Thanks for your report
Octagon firmware was released a couple of days ago so it shouldn't be far!

I've not seen any of these issues at all on my 92000x on latest firmware.
Mind you im not using the card slots. So would appear to be most issues are revolving around the MCAS and card usage.
I discovered this morning when I turned on the TV (ultraplus 900 not turned off at night) it started the channel I had been using last night ok. It happened to be a Vertical Polarity. When I changed to another Vertical Ch it was ok, but as soon as I changed to a Horizontal Ch it froze up and the box had to be restarted. Yes I am using the card slot.
After a reboot it's ok. maybe the TV needs to warm up for a while !!!!
looking forward to the new F/W here's hoping it addresses some or all of the stability issues![]()
are u running any other plugins other than MCAS?
Now another problem has re appeared.
LeRoy you got me to do a factory reset to fix the EPG feature, which it did and has been going fine.
Now all of a sudden, (not done a thing) it has disappeared again...nothing there.
These dam Ultraplus 900's are proving to be a pain in the butt to be polite. I would use stronger words if I could.
How come that has happened?
Will do another factory reset I suppose but really it should not be necessary.
All these reboots due to locking up are probably the cause.
What do you have plugged in? Dish Size , LNBF etc?
Is it freezing if left on FTA channels?
Have you tried swapping out the lnbf and checking all the cable conections?
