Strange problem with DVX 555u stb

hi guys, I'll try and explain this as best i can.I got one of these stbs about 10 months ago,fitted a hd and everythings been fine till now.A few days ago the picture started to lose colour and display faint horizontal bars..If i turned the stb off then back on the display went back to normal for a while then the problem reappeared..I tried new cables, different hd etc etc. without luck.Analogue signal works fine.Tried another older Legend stb and no problem..So i took it back to Stratfields who exchanged it for another unit..plugged this in and same problem! .I cannot figure this out..surely a new unit straight out of the box could not have the same problem as my old unit..The only thing i can think of is that the signal here in perth has changed somehow and divx stbs cant cope with it?
Any info at all appreciated.

I'm having the same problem. I live in Perth. I took the "fauty" unit back, got a replacement and still have the same problem with the new unit.

update on this..plugged the dvx 555u into another tv and it works ok,so it the fault seems to lie in the original tv..confusing..maybe i should just stop buying this cheap crap :-)
