Unable To Record ABC Digital Signal

Hi maybe someone can enlighten me on this issue

I have a Bush 160 Gig PVR STB for recording ABC programs while I am not home for later viewing. I have been away for 3 mths and last night I noticed that when I try to playback a program recorded on ABC I get an encrypted message. The FTA plus SBS are all ok. Can anyone help ?

Ok AL will check now I re scanned ABC = ABCHDTV ABC 1 ABC 2 ABC 3 plus radio channels Box is a CRT SD records ok on all FTA plus SBS got me stumped. Thx for reply AL . When I go to playback I get encrypted window top right hand corner. ??? I Have NFI on this one !

Bottom line is if its only a SD recorder it wont decode HD channels, that'd be my guess but I could be wrong

YEP ABC HD is scanned in but no picture SD Channels do have a pikky same as the rest of the crop. I wonder how can u possibly encrypt a signal when you can see the picture. Ill call aunty in the morning and ask them whats changed while ive been away. Thx all the same

I feel that the prob may be the 50 % signal (could be better) strength, quality 100 % 0k. Will fix to morrow. Thx for your attention

Could be the one, even if you can see the channel now perhaps in the crap weather or wind the signal drops off enough to make the channel unavailable?
