Default Linux Based DVB-T STB???

Hello,
IN the same vain as the wonderful DM500's, is there a linux based DVB-T STB around that would suit having a play around with??

there is a DM500T you know, as there is also a DM500C (cable)

Suppose it'd work in Australia, as you do use MPEG2 rather than MPEG4

the reveiver you link to is described as terrestrial at the top but satellite in the decsription and its freq. range is satellite - so someone has their wires crossed.

what would be the benefit of a dream / terrestrial receiver? all our signals are fta!

to play, to learn, to hack, to see what benefits could be had. well in my opinion anyway.

The Dreambox DM600 has the option of Plug and Play tuners so you can use a DVB/T Standard Def tuner. It is a linux based unit like the DM500. the DM7025 has plug and play tuners available as well. If you need any suitable tuners send me a PM.

what about the demodulator? Sat is MPEG2 and TV is OFDM. Or is the demodulation done in the tuner as a whole?
