Agreed...maybe $175 tops if you get lucky....I don't expect to get any more when I sell mine in a month or two. I haven't done any mods...(apart from the samsung 5400rpm hd)......

Its never let me down since day one....ever....

    Cheers

What r they worth.... thats purely up to how much someone is prepared to pay or how bad they want one.

A Clone is $160 brand new
His are Original though..... Can only buy them secondhand (when they become available, not to many are geniune either)
And Clones have been sold secondhand for around $100.

So pick a figure in that area

As for $175 for a DM7000 that might even come with a HDD, it is a bargin considering what the unit can do.
Only risk is age / user abuse or heat related problems.

    OK, yeah cheers.

I have a 7000 and it is a great unit, would take another at 175 too, but a 500 would do for the 2nd unit in the house.....

if you get offered a dm500 for $160 or a dm7000 for $175. take the dm7000, give him your money, and run like hell.

the dm7000 is FAR superior box then a 500. the 7000 is a workhorse, the 500 imo is a goat dressed in sadle.
