    Default dm500 stuck with just green light

    after a power out my dm500 shit itself and would not turn on just a green light on front. could not flash it and left it sitting there for a while, after some reading and searching i tried hyper terminal and got it back to life. well after a week turned it off to move it and it has died again and i can not get back to life
    any info on anything to try would be great

    Are you sure it's not a dodgy plugpack? Try a different one to see if that helps.

    Time to replace Caps mate.

    Had same issue many many times with 5620. they are all the same, i used to leave it on the min i turned it off or unplugged it BANG no more power on. Sometimes it would surprise me and power on after 4 or 5 times of off and ons, but changed ALL caps and fine since.

    tried different power pack no go
    must be these caps thing but there isnt much i could do there unless i can change them using electrical tal or blu-tack
