    Default What is good image to start with for DM500

    I just bought DM500, and pretty much dont know anything about this box. Any suggestion what is good image I should use to replace the default one.

    The default one is using Gemini. I will use this DM500 mainly only for F**Tel.

    You can't really go wrong with PLi

    When you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all

    Can I use new OpenPLi v1.0 Enigma1 or Enigma 2 for DM500?

    Or should use Older PLi like Jade Final Enigma1 for DM500?

    you can only use Enigma1 images and either will do the trick.

    I didn't think OpenPLi v1.0 Enigma1 image was available for Dm500? From the PLi Images website (

    "PLiŽ's OpenPLi v1.0 images for the Enigma1&2 OpenEmbedded boxes are available.
    So, no DM500, DM56x0, DM7000 images!"

    Am I missing something? Because I need to upgrade a couple of DM500's myself.

    Openpli 1.0 is not there for the Enigma 1 cdk boxes (500, 5620, 7000)
    but the Openpli nightly beta builds are very stable and available for these boxes
    These are actually later builds than Openpli 1.0 which are august/september

    just make sure the icon is stable next to the download link on the left of page
    Dm500, DM5620, DM600 x2, DM7000 x1, DM7020, DM7025, DM800, VU+DUO and a partridge in a pear tree
