    Default DM800 No Pictures

Was wondering if anyone could help me.

I'm getting sound and I'm getting the menus and EPG stuff on my DM800 but I'm not getting any pictures. But I can get pictures when I stream to the PC.

Tried it with both the SCART plug and the DCI plug but neither worked. Played around with the AV settings but no joy there either.

    its a wierd one ..
you have audio .. so pic is being decoded
you have OSD .. so video signal is coming from stb
you have no video .. so ...
I would go with leroy .. faulty cable
    or
incorect audio / video settings in STB
    like RGB / YPV etc
    .. its a wierd one

Use DVI, but then use the web interface to get to the settings menu. Somewhere in there you must select the output type (dvi/scart/etc). NOTE THAT THERE ARE TWO DVI OPTIONS - ONE FOR DVI-PC AND ONE FOR DVI.

I suggest you try each DVI option, rebooting the unit after setting.

I got fed up and did a Factory reset but the menus were grinding along so I unplugged it for the night. Set it up again this morning (menus went through at normal speed) and the pictures are back.

So the settings could have been messed up somewhere along the line but I'm leaning towards it being too hot. Probably should have been a bit more scientific about it.

    thanks

    Hi,
I'm having exactly the same issue, no video, just sound, even on FTA channels.
I was thinking in re-flash but ill try the factory resetting.
