Default dm500s network issue - led blinking constantly

    Hello

I have an issue with one of my DM500S' - I can't get the network part working.
Sometimes, the network is working for few minutes.

When i plug in the network cable, I can see on the switch that there is link, and inside the DM500 I can see two LED on, I can also see a third LED blinking every second constantly. It's like this:

    [LED - on]

[LED - on] [LED - blinking every second]

I tried to change capacitor C23,C17, C65 and even the RJ45 connector.

    I tried another power supply even a 12V 3A power supply !

    Any suggestion ?

    Thanks
    Zak

    Default Network hassle.

I know this is pretty stupid to say, but did you check that the network is "enabled" in the communication setup. Nah! nobody is as stupid as me, spending ages to find that out.

I also noticed some posts on another site, reporting hardware errors in comms, with no resolution, except to say the "board was blown".

Default dm500s network issue - network led blinking constantly

    of course yes!!!

In fact, sometimes, the network works but few minutes after, network test fails and one of the network led is blinking every second.
I made some tests with another DM500s on the same network cable, I have no issue; every thing is ok.

I suspect a real hardware issue.

    Thanks

I try again with the last gemini image 4.7 but that does not do the trick :-(

So I put my db with fix IP and I tested ping from PC.
    Here are the results :
Pinging 192.168.0.23 with 32 bytes of data:

    The network is unstable.

But when I put the another DB on the same network cable, I have no issue

    Any idea ?

    OK :

My network is very simple :
DB is connected direct to a netgear switch 10/100BT which is connect to wifi ADSL Router.

I tried to connect only DB on the switch with no other device. But it changed nothing.

My PC is connected by wifi to the ADSL Router.

Another time, I tried with other DB, it worked fine. So, I don't think the issue come from the network.

    I'll try to contact cwispy

    I finaly found the solution.
After the RJ45 connector, there is a chip pulse H1102 to protect the asix ic. I think it was defected.
So, I bypassed this chip linking the RJ45 tx & rx pins to rd & td pins of asix directly.
    Now, it works fine.
    Thanks for all
