Default DM7020 maybe faulty - signal drops

    Hi Everyone,

I've noticed my DM7020 picture starts to pixelate in big chunks and the SN drops to 2.5ish (from just under 16) and the signal levels drop right down from 80%+. It fluctuates up and down then eventually comes good. I was thinking it's time to try a new PSU.

Dish alignment is fine and directly connected to LNB. (It has to be, an Austar tech recently installed it! )

    Anyone else seen these symptoms?

    Leroy

I had a complete signal drop out yesterday for 5 minutes.......pixelated then died, there have been other reports in a post by Davmel and I have noticed the issue previously ( which I thought was my setup )

How often does it happen ?

Seems to be late at night around 11pm and for the last few nights. I had a look now and it's fine. The other box in the lounge was fine as I turned off that and went to bed.

I have had some strange occurances on my 7020 of late....TV1+2 and W+2 all fine with 95% sig and 90% agc with 0% BER

    TV1 & W unavailable 65% sig, 74% agc with a high BER.

Moved 7020 to different location (ie different port on multiswitch) and all working, replacement STB (mutant 200s) on old 7020 port, all fine. go figure???
