    Default Dm500 shutdown

    Hi guys got a dm500s was running ok now it goes to power on then just shutsdown after 20 seconds changed power supply all caps are ok changed all of them a few months back any ideas
    IF IT DONT WORK USE A BIGGER HAMMER

    Have you tried reflashing it?

    Sorry Puca did you try a new PSU or did you fix it a while back ??

    yeah tried another power pack 12v 4 amp plenty of juice and unable to flash it as it wont stay powered up long enough
    IF IT DONT WORK USE A BIGGER HAMMER

    Fark hey I had one dream that i had to put a fan on top of the CPU to keep it running
    but that one took about 1 minute to turn off

    was there any caps on the MB that you could change ??

    yeah like i said all caps have been changed on the main board about a few months back not cpu overheating its cold

    The only thing i could think of checking \now would be the Regs and see if they keep there 12 and 5 volt rails and see if one of them drop off
