    Default CS Aurora Help

    Hi Guys,

I had my setup working fine but now it doesnt seem to work.
I was CSing aurora to another box in the house, but now it doesnt work, didnt change any settings.
I have connected box boxes up via a router and both have been confirmed to be connected to the network by accessing them on a computer also connected on the network.

Im using Cccam 2.2.1 and below is my cfg file:

    For server:
    Code:

But it doesnt seem to work or show up in the web info.
In Webinfo for the client it shows that it is connected to the other Dreambox but doesn't have any cards:
    Host----------------|Connected| Type------| Version| NodeID|Cards|CAID/Idents|
    +----------------------+------------+---------+--------+----------------+-------+
    |192.168.1.10:17119|-----------|CCcam-s2s|--------|-------|---0-|------------|

But under webinfo for the server it doesnt show any client connected.
It does show 1 avaliable share under 'Shares' though.
    | Host---------| Type-------|Caid|System| Providers|Uphops Maxdown| Nodes |
    +----------------------+------------+----+-------+----------+-------+-------+
    |/dev/usb/tts/0|smartreader+|626|irdeto|---0,1------|0--11-----------|------|

The server box also recieves a share, which might be limited to just one downshare, could this cause a problem?

    Any help would be great.

    Cheers

    Edit:

Ok i have been able to connect the initial share i receive to my other box.
But had to swap around which box was the server and which was the client.

But aurora still wont work from the Dm7020 to the Dm600.
I would just use the whitey in the DM600 but im using a smargo to run it and a DM600 doesn't have a usb

    Edit 2:
Im pretty sure that the problem is that the DM7020 is not sharing any card it has for some reason, but will still connect to another server and clients can still connect to it. Does anyone know what might be causing this issue?
It obviously doesn't have to do with porting on my router as the other share is working between the two dreambox's, so im thinking it has to do entirely on some setting im missing either in my CCcam file or another setting in my dreambox

    Cheers

    Rewstar,

Few problems that I can see.

    1) If the aurora card is in the server dreambox, your C line in your CLIENT box should be c: 192.168.1.10 17500 user1 pass1. This is based purely off your CCcam.cfg that you posted. Note the different Port Number.

    2) In your webinfo client, it does not show that your client box is connected to the server, as there is no duration in the connected column. Try changing the port number in the client CCcam.cfg as suggested above, and see if things change.

    3) The server seems to be detecting the card fine. I think you may have got mixed up with saying it is restricted to 1 downhop, as the 0 indicates it is a local card and the 11 means that it can be downshared 11 times. Definately fix this if you are planning to CS outside your local network.

Also double check your port forwarding rules in the router config. Make sure tcp is allowed for both inbound and outbound on port 17500.

Try the above, and let us know how you go.

    Cheers,
    keegs
