    Default DM800Clone patching image with correct bootloader?

    Ok have a old Dm800 clone with PLI jade image, waiting to update it to new image file but my bootrom is only Version 72, I have download a copy of all bootroms and a image file from pli, How do I patch the correct bootrom onto the new image file?

    if it is an old clone .. then not too sure ..
    the new clones have Sim201 and images particularly suited tothem
    I think they are only suited to Sim201 machines ...
    Dm500, DM5620, DM600 x2, DM7000 x1, DM7020, DM7025, DM800, VU+DUO and a partridge in a pear tree

    Does your DM800 have sim201? Look for a sticker underneath....

    unfortunately the sim 1.0 is early in that process so both have moved on a bit since then.

    My guess mate is it will be trial and error
    with the little I have learnt on this over the last 2 months - my step would be to grab an image from before the start of March this year (big changes again there)
    grab your bootloader version 72 as a .nfi and make sure you can flash the box with that ..
    bear in mind you may end up with a box that you will have to go right back to serial dreamup to kick start again ...
