if it is an old clone .. then not too sure ..
the new clones have Sim201 and images particularly suited tothem
I think they are only suited to Sim201 machines ...
Ok have a old Dm800 clone with PLI jade image, waiting to update it to new image file but my bootrom is only Version 72, I have download a copy of all bootroms and a image file from pli, How do I patch the correct bootrom onto the new image file?

Does your DM800 have sim201? Look for a sticker underneath....
no it's a sim version 1.0
lol mate - you could be a bit gentler
clones and dreams are a bit like virus writers and virus protection writers
each time the clones take a step .. dream takes a step or two to try and stop things.. then the clones take anothere step to fix .. then dream breaks it
unfortunately the sim 1.0 is early in that process so both have moved on a bit since then.
My guess mate is it will be trial and error
with the little I have learnt on this over the last 2 months - my step would be to grab an image from before the start of March this year (big changes again there)
grab your bootloader version 72 as a .nfi and make sure you can flash the box with that ..
bear in mind you may end up with a box that you will have to go right back to serial dreamup to kick start again ...
good luck mate
