Need urgent help with dreambox 500-s
Hi guys i had to do a factory reste and now i cant get foxtel and optus c1 satellite working. It was all fine when i first got it but now i dont know how to set it up again i scan optus c1 satellite and it juts says; ALL KNOWN TRANSPONDERS HAVE BEEN TRIED BOUT NO LOCK WAS POSSIBLE VERIFY ANTENNA/CABLE SET UP OR TRY ANOTHER SATELLITE NETWORK.
IT WORKED WHEN I FIRST PUT IT IN BUT AS I SAID I BUGGER UP A SETTING AND DID A FACTORY REST SO WOULD;D LIKE A SET BY SET EASY GUIDE TO FOLLOW TO GET IT WORKING AGAIN IF ANYONE COULD HELP I WOULD BE MOST GREATFUL

When you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all
why are you shouting?? seriously have a good read through the forums there is plenty of info on settings here for dreambox, and the only way to learn is to play with the box

Okay so i now have a lock on optus c1 but for some reason i am not getting the channels if anyone els can tell me the configuration of their box that is working with foxtel it would be of great help eg the lnb setting etc.
Why not look in the guide in the link posted above? It has everything you need. You just need to know what LNB is on your dish.

Okay got all the services back but now it says this service cannot be descrambled any one know of a simple way how to fix this

I am fully subscribed to foxtel iq2 have platinum hd all i want to do is get 7,9,10, from the east coast that's it. I have a official foxtel smartcard
Have you tried putting the card back into your Foxtel box?
Yep works fine on foxtel now i have a blank screen on dreambox picked up all the channels fine i think it must juts be a setting any help would be good

Do you get ( do you get pictures on ) the FTA channels like the Expo Channel etc..

al jazzer i do but no free to air channels i am sure it is just a setting i am missing or somthing. Yes and expo as well

Yes i have cccam installed and i can get the foxtel help channel that aljazzar channel expo but nothing else
