no CA found is a classic error for latest DM drivers on a clone box
My guess is you need to use USB and an image to suit your probably clone box
Hi All,
I tried to flash my DM-500HD to OpenPLI and have managed to brick it, there seems to be heaps of help for the 800 on this issue, but none on the 500HD. DreamUp doesn't find the box when I turn it on and when I use PuTTY while turning it on I get the following:
There is heaps suggesting a null modem serial cable, however the DM-500HD has no serial port, only USB, modem and ethernet (which I could use for this purpose)Code:BCM74130011 012 K1 K2 K3 K4 K5 Shmoo Version=3.8 DDR Freq=0x0000018C %00000001% RC1=00000005 WC1=FFFFFFE8 RC2=0000001A WC2=00000039 RC3=0000000F WC3=FFFFFFE8 RC4=0000000F WC4=00000039 NWC=00000010 RC5=00000005 WC5=00000010 RC6=0000001A WC6=00000010 NRC=0000000F RW=00000016 WW=00000052 G=00000000 R=0000000F W=00000010 BL=00000000 RC1=00000004 RC2=00000015 BL=00000001 RC1=00000003 RC2=00000017 BL=00000002 RC1=00000001 RC2=00000016 BL=00000003 RC1=00000002 RC2=00000019 BL=00000004 RC1=00000002 RC2=00000018 BL=00000005 RC1=00000005 RC2=0000001F BL=00000006 RC1=00000001 RC2=00000018 BL=00000007 RC1=00000004 RC2=0000001F 3 COPY CODE COMPARE CODE 4567 (c) 2007,2008 Dream Multimedia GmbH. The fan doesn't spin, there is no display output and I just get the green light on the front.
Does anyone have anything that they can suggest to help me, as I really would like to get the box working.
Thanks

Dm500, DM5620, DM600 x2, DM7000 x1, DM7020, DM7025, DM800, VU+DUO and a partridge in a pear tree
All it takes for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing
however how am I able to flash it if DreamUp can't find the box (I hit connect, turn on the box and then it never "finds" and then allows me to flash the box)
From what I understand, you need to load the USB to UART drivers to allow you to flash the decoder via dreamup.
Hi All,
I figured it out, I needed to use FerrariFiller to flash instead of DreamUp. Windows 7 automatically installs the drivers.
Thanks

This is a highly recommended site for clones with Ferrari
