NDS Newcs CCcam MGcamd

Love whitey but updating probs have got the better of me.
GW having probs to now.
Shes going back into the hummy.
I have NDS Subscriber card (i think their called blueys)and am running Newcs1.20 and CCcam 2.09 as of this morning. seems to be running fine so far.
All the forums i read are on whitey and cant find much on NDS.
What version of CCcam or MGcam will work best with NDS as a client with Newcs1.20 (xp).
or am i better off going to Newcs1.5 or 1.6 etc
Obviously i would like the NDS to update properly.
I have been led to believe running a NDS gives less troubles but costs monthly $$$

Mine keeps freezing.
Im starting to think my version is corupted
Im using CCcam 2.09 with GW.
I wanted to plug the humax directly to pc with season card so it does all the updating but cant get it to connect.
it will run fine for 10mins to 3 hours then freezes.
stop then start server without putting into hummy, starts ok then freezes again.
I was the last one running sids till they changed the a* card so my season cards are fine.

Are you using standard firmware in the humax?

works fine with a whitey straight into it.

With your DM's I'd be using an earlier version of CCcam. 2.09 and 2.08 send heaps of ECMs. In GW make sure that the box is unticked for receiveing ECM's from these clients.
Using a BF430? Have you tried with just the Humax and no other clients?
I've found GW to be very stable.

i will try again tonight with updates off for all dreams.
Where can i find another copy of GW in case mines corrupt. i think it is.

Use cccam 2.0 or magicamd.

Don't be a tight arse...buy A BF430 and use greywolf properly.

Until Then Im Switching My Gw Pc Server Off And Leaving My Newcs1.2 Pc Bluey On, Been Running 2 Days Prob Free
I Want To Focus On Bluey For The Moment.
You Mentioned Earlier To Use Newcs1.5 And Cccam2.0.
As Im Using A Xp Pc I Will Loose The Management Console.
I Would Love To Have My Bluey Running Perfectly. Would 1.6 And Cccam2.0 Work Just As Well As 1.5 Because I Want Bluey To Update And The Console To Work.

I May Have Trouble Getting All The Dreams Back To Change Cams As Everyone Is A Distance And All Are Cccam2.09.
If I Use The Bf430 To Update The Gw And Untick The Update Boxs For All My Dream Clients Will This Be Ok.i Read Somewhere That Higher Versions May Update Regardless.. Is This True?
Is One Bf430 Enough To Keep Gw Fully Updated.

One BF for the Hummer is all you need and have that as the only client that updates. All the rest untick the enable emms box. You should be right with the clients running 2.09.

Does GW still have the client connection limit issue? If more than 8 clients starts loosing the rest of the clients.

Has this been fixed yet? Last time I ran GW was about 8 months ago & had this issue.

I have found that NewCS 1.7 combined with CCcam 2.08 will allow the 'Bluey' to run flawlessly. The card may need to be put back in the subscriber box once every 4 months for a 'hit'.

Hopefully that is the combination you want.

Evomcamd on the DM sending the updates and NewCS 1.5 will update a blue just fine. It will even kickstart a blue that has stopped after missing a update. You don't even need to put it back into the subscriber box if it misses the update. Your other clients can run anything. Just tell them not to send updated and newcs to not accept updates from them.
