It looks pretty generic , I should something laying around for sure I'll get back to you.

BTW , the ODY bit is the common part number , ODY C29 = 29" 02 = 2 Ohms Horizontal , the last 2 digits have something to do with deflection / pitch angle but cant remember exactly
The same one is used on Samsung tubes.

B4L, maybe you'd have more luck in the "yoke" thread in general chat

I had a lot of trouble with one of those Units.
Ended up giving it back to customer.
Before the protection cut in, there was an East west Fault I couldn't repair.

Are you sure your Yoke is Faulty?

Sure am
Yoke plugged in B+ 60 volts and turns straight off.
Unplugged the set just squeals Like a little Pig .
And another yoke just soldered in but not over the neck (as I don't have a big one )
turns on with B+ 120volts,
And a big dot on the screen

But I will keep my eyes out for a E/W fault

cheers

YEAH, know what you mean, many a time standing behind a sony, looking daydreamingly at a cross-hatch when

BANG

as i get up off the floor covered in sweat and adjust my glasses, i wonder why the screwdriver, that was in my pocket, is now protruding from the cieling, the bench i was working on seems alot further away than i remember, mmmm, and i wonder why my chest feels like a hippo has been practicing hop-scotch up and down my rib cage......

thats right i was algining that yoke... when.... AHHH BOY, AM I AWAKE NOW

Does an isolating transformer help in these cases?

It would help, but not being STUPID would be a lot safer

NOPE! isolation transformers will help in psu repairs (cause it "isolates" you from the mains) but i was aligning the yoke, deflection still bites even with ac isolation transformer in circuit.

as far as for being STUPID, B4L, we wouldn't be here if we were just a little bit less-STUPID
