Default Whirlpool M595 Microwave

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for this Microwave?
I don't think anything seriously is wrong with it, when the door is slamed its fine. There are 3 microswitches that I can see when the door is closed which effect how it operates.

The senarios:

- Close the door and the light stays on... can't press any buttons (if you manually push in the microswitch at the bottom at this point, the microwave starts spinning as below
- Close the door and the light stays on and the microwave spins, fan turns on. (It doesn't heat up or anything just spins as if there is something inside)

Slam the door, all microswitches are triggered and then it can be operated as normal. I'm pretty sure its nothing to do with the electronics... has something to do with the 3 microswitches, I think they all have to open/close in the right order for correct operation.

Thanks

No need circuit digram at all, just invest 3 bucks on 3 microswitchesd and replace them, your problem fixed.

There is only one switch that is responsible for this situation occurring. Find it and adjust it. Problem solved.

It is simply a matter of one of them being out of adjustment - and this can be attributed in some cases to cheap ovens that use thin steel - the switches aren't held in place properly - the steel flexes and the switches move.

Take the cover off (with mains plug pulled) and slowly close the door. Check each switch in turn to make sure it "clicks" as the door shuts home.

The one that doesn't click is the one that needs adjustment.

Circuit Diagrams used to be stuck to the inside of the cover.

Yep, just check the microswitches one by one. Easy enough to do with the power disconnected.

Microwave Oven Repair Safety Precautions

Read this before you do any work on the microwave. Even with the power disconnected microwaves are dangerous to work on if you don't discharge the high voltage cap.
