F&P active smart fridge/freezer lights flashing

Dont suppose anyone out their has a list of what these mean, do I fix it or junk it. Goes ok aside from this annoyance. gotta reset the mode switch about 30 secs after everytime I open the freezer door, or it just flashes and beeps all day

same problem happens to my whirlpool fridge, "door open" light flashing and beeping even the door is closed firmly, model is wbm35lw,

Hehe, welcome to the world of technology... don't ya just love it?

Now they are talking about adding networking capability to things like fridges, washing machines and many other household appliances so they can all talk to each other, and to the interweb - so they can self-update when a new version of the firmware comes out etc.

You'll come home one day and all your stuff will be defrosted because the fridge had to auto-reboot after an update and when it did, it hung at the POST

Had a similar problem with a customers fisher and paikell fridge and it ended up being cockroaches had infestated the control board which was located on the bottom left hand side on the back of the unit. Simply clean the unit and bobs your uncle.

my whirlpool fridge control board was sealed in the brown plastic box and I took it out and looks clean......
