Sony RPTV KP-FW46M31 parts

Hi guy's, i need a bit of info/help finding a couple of components to fix a RPTV that i've got.

Model is a KP-FW46M31 and is showing a HV Protection fault, 10 flashes of stand by led, so i'm looking to replace the recommended parts.

Anyone know where i can find the following, in Adelaide preferably if not interstate is fine.

IC TL1431CZ-AP

2SK2842 (LBS2SONY) transistor.

I'm waiting for a sony repair shop in adelaide to get back to me but if there are any other options i'm happy to try them.

Hi,
I assume you meant TL431CZ, not TL1431CZ. Both are available from WES Components in Sydney. Phone 02 9797 9866. Or Speedy Spares in Victoria, phone 03 9376 1333, they are the "official" Sony parts reseller, but they will charge you heaps more than WES.

The IC i an after is the tl1431cz-ap, that is straight from the service manual. I have found a couple in the states but nothing in australia. I'll try WES and see how i go.

The TL1431 is a version of the TL431 voltage reference. It (or versions from other manufacturers such as the KIA431) can be found in almost any switchmode power supply.

Yeah I dont think you need the original part for this one. There are about 6 different ones that I know of, all the same, except the HA17431 which is in a larger style case but still the same internally.....
