Thread: I need an LG DVD Recorder Remote

Scored a DVD Recorder, but it has very few Buttons and I can't really use it without a Remote Control.

Anybody have ideas as to where I can get one, preferably an original?

The model is an LG DBRH197.

Mainly I need to get into the setup, so I need something which has at least a MENU Button on it.



I done some Internet searching, but I can't find any where that sells LG Spare Parts for this Unit.

The local clearance centre bloke told me he'ld sell me one for $20 if I get him the Model Number.
I didn't believe him at first.
I figured he meant he'ld try.

Went home brought the Unit in and said if it works I'ld give him $40.
IT DID - I DID.

And for those interested, mines a Silver one.

One annoyance is my VCR is also an LG Unit and there is problems with one remote Control affecting the other piece of equipment.
I'll probably leave the VCR unplugged unless I need to play a tape.
