Default Older Hoover Washing Machine 200M 4.5 kg

Howdy all. Up at my Son's (sole parent no money) who's clunker Hoover which works well except it has a very slow water fill. I've swapped the solenoids over but it still has the same problem, just a fast dribble. Before I go out & get another solenoid, can there be another issue other than solenoids?
    I've checked, water flow,filters, leaks.
Cheers & thanks for any ideas.

If you swapped the hoses or solenoids over with no improvement makes me think it has to be at the tap end so you need to check the flow from the tap with the hose removed, if thats good, then the filter at the tap end if one is there, then remove the hose from the machine and check the flow in case on an obstruction within the hose itself.

Failing that you may have to resort to Hoover's old slogan and get a couple of big rocks and 'beat as you scrub', sorry 'bout dat !!!!
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

Update. As suspected faulty solenoid. New one works well.
