Default Circuit Board Manufacture and component suppliers

    Hi All,

Wondering if anyone can help me out with getting a circuit board manufactured (I need about 100 of them) and sourcing some scarce components (IC's). I should be OK to source all of the common components such as resistors and transistors etc.

I have a really old circuit board which I need to get copied as the original designer and manufacturer no longer wants to produce any more of the product. I checked and there is no patent on the design or anything (I found where it was originally applied for, but then abandonded).

I can send the original board to be copied but was hoping someone would know if a decent board manufacturer?

    Regards,

    Brian.

    Hi Brian

There is an Aussie owned company in Sydney called Dayang Oms, that manufactures circuit boards. ()
For those music lovers out there, Dayang made the circuit boards that went into the great Aussie musical instrument, the Fairlight CMI 30A.

I hope this info helps you or puts you on the right path.

    Cheers,

It might be worth getting in touch with in Moorebank (Sydney). They will do low volume runs of through hole or SMT PCB assembly.
Dave Jones from the EEVblog has a nice video tour of the facility:

If it is a single sided board you could try Sesame Electronics in Bexely NSW

as reches mentioned SESAME ELECTRONICS , as for the board itself being copied
have you spoken to the old manufacturer about getting a copy of the original cad
drawings as that would save you time and money
