    Default Commander BN308/512 PABX

Anyone have access to a service manual or the circuit diagrams.

Yes I know they are old but are very reliable and do everything required.
I have one myself and one in a non profit organization.
A recent lighting strike took out the Incoming Line card at their office and I am running out of spares.

    Any help appreciated

From what I remember, and I am talking something like 30 years ago, the manuals only tell you to replace the PCB, IIRC, we did have a tech replacing components after a lightning strike, but we never had component level diags and it was only by trial and error that the tech worked out what needed replacing. Sorry that I can not be of any more assistance. Good luck with the repairs, though.

I know this probably is not what you want to hear or after, but have you considered changing to a VoIP system? Cheaper running cost, especially seeing that now days you don't even need a PABX in house or even to physically exist... PM me if you'd like and I can let know what it cost for a couple of small office VoIP PABX solutions I have recently done.

Replaced the whole system with a spare, so they are back on air.

The pisser is that when I set the box up on the bench, the fuse does not blow and all appears normal.
This is despite blowing the fuse consistently when incomming line card connected on site.

Gitch As far as I know, Voip requires internet connection.
