    Default LG 60PK550 issues

    Hi guys, I've got one not turning on,
    VS, VA 17V, 5ST all present and correct, yet nothing on screen, when you hit volume up led flashes
    Have tried main and control

    Any ideas mick.... Or anyone
    When I explained to the guy what avatar I wanted, that wasn't what I meant!

    A good first step is to try the Auto Pattern Generator by short circuiting the two points labelled on the control PCB. This will indicate if the panel is O.K. Be sure to disconnect the power cable to the main PCB prior to initiating the Auto Pattern Generator.

    I was sure this used to happen when the LVDS cable was removed from the digital pcb, but of course tried that and no change.

    can you tell me how they're labelled? just I'm not at work at the moment.

    The PK series were released in 2010 and the PCB silk screen should be labelled as in this image:




    I'll check whether the service manual is of any use.
