Default LG'S service menu for late model TV's

Most of us know that LG's service menu can be accessed by pressing Menu, Menu on the control and the display at the same time but I have never used Ok,OK on both the control or display at the same time.
Is this correct that you have to press Ok on the hand control and OK on the display at the same time for a FEW MINUTES not seconds
With Menu, Menu it was 20 seconds but OK,OK for a few minutes is this correct.

Geee times have changed. Now you can use a phone or a Harmony Remote to access your hidden menu in your tv. what happened to the good old days of Menu, Menu or Ok, Ok. All I want to do is check and adjust slight convergence problems
