I'm trying to find one of the LG Service remotes (LG 105-201M) any one of you chaps have a clue where you chase one up locally in Oz
Thanks
Accessing Service Menu on the Hecto to see if there is a Convergence adjustment. (Under warranty LG will fix it not me but at the same time I like to learn)
I have finally got into my service menu of my LG Hecto Laser projector (via my Harmony 700 remote) to see if I can find an adjustment for slight convergence issues. How I achieved this was by using the same code (from Harmony.com) being used by the 84 inch UHD LED LCD being the UHD LG 84 LM9600. Now when I press my Harmony remote and bring up the option "SERVICE MENU" a box appears on the screen and I punch the usual recommended number being 0413 and bingo a service menu appears. The Service menu "EZ Adjust NOT INSTART" looks like nothing like what my Hecto projector should be as if I look at the EZ Adjust menu it shows that this menu has 4 HDMI's the Hecto has 3 only. The menu shows that it has Local dimming, the projector has NO local dimming, The Menu shows its back lit, there is no such thing as backlit on a projection tv, Its show that its 3D the Hecto is not 3D now this is just some of the confusion that i'm witnessing but at the same time I have noticed that when I have the Option 3D its set at 0, the Option of the 4th HDMI that doesn't exits its set at 0, so on and so on.
I also now have the Service manual for the Hecto and it shows (few photo's)that you have two different menu's one being the EZ Adjust looks EXACTLY like what's on the screen of my Hecto and by the look at it the one I have not found yet (haven't had a look for it yet) being IN START. and the INSTART one is the one that has familiar settings (as shown in the Service Manual) related to the Hecto Laser Projector"eg" Projector Options and other.
1/ Question
Now am I going MAD all because I used a code for another TV that is bringing up the wrong menu or is this a Norm that a menu pops up with options that are not even on your display/projector.
2/ Question
How do you access, or find, get into the IN START menu? Do I need a Special remote control to use after you have accessed the service menu to get into IN START.
By the way I have lived into my other LG's service menu's, have done adjustments mainly the oversizing and geometry and convergence issues on the 71SA1d and the MW 60 and till today I continually check them as we still have the two 71sa1d's (sold the MW 60 mate still has it working) and I have like the Hecto photographed all menu's and backed them up on three computers just in case if ever needed.
Thanks

Sorry Guys I've missed the both of you and your fruitful post.
I have had my head buried in my Harmony remote and IN my Hecto whilst I have been learning all this biss encryption crap.
I have managed to program my Harmony 700 remote to give me the AZ_ Adjust but not the In_Start and there is the reason why I wanted the proper LG Service Remote.
I have contacted Statewide Appliances and they don't have any in stock (the old model, I didn't know the new one existed)and possibly will not be getting anymore in the future. Like I stated on the DTV forum I bet once I purchase one from overseas I will find one here in Australia so Mr iwacelect please hang onto that one just in case if my one from Germany does not turn up (something suss with it if I get it I will let you know ,thanks)
The main reason why I wanted the Service remote is to see if the LG Hecto has adjustments for Convergence but after being told that the Hecto is a single chip DLP well that throws my theory out the window as what I'm look at now is Chromatic Aberrations which by the look at it all these Hecto's (At lease the three I have seen do so far) seem to suffer from this.
I have the Hecto Service manual + the Training manual and they have pictures about this problem telling you to access the service menu, pop up the Resolution pattern/White Cross Hatch Pattern and get your steel ruler out and measure the flare to see if its in tolerance.
By any chance Mr TV Guy and Mr iwacelect do your both or one of you know some super smart dude (maybe the both of you fit in this category) that works at LG that has strong knowledge with these Hecto's. Hey I'm no dummy with these projectors I have RE-Set up two others for people that have had poor installations done (geometry issues. Ps mine is 100% spot on I use Spears and Munsil patterns and a steel ruler 1M long to make sure all lines are straight) and there are two questions that bother me as different material (service manuals, Owner manual, Material on the internet) have given me different measurements mainly the distance from the bottom of the screen to the top of the table where the HECTO sits on when USING THE EZ ADJUSTING PLATE.
Question 1/
What is the correct measurement from the bottom of the screen to the top of the Table where the Hecto sits on when You are using the supplied EZ Adjusting plate under the HECTO. Now My Service Manual tells me 380MM, my User/Owner Manual tells me 370MM, on the internet I have read 390MM or above. Have a look at the pics. Stupid me I have not added the pic of the tool I have that measures this measurement from the bottom the the screen to the top of the table
Question2
This one is driving me mad The measurement from the screen surface to the front tip of the Hecto is 550MM and all my manuals tell me this is correct (look at photo it shows you the tool that I made for this adjustment). Now the big Now is if you set it up at 550MM in all the Hecto's I've seen the image is smaller than the screen (Reduces left, right, top, the picture at the same time travels below the screen) all the way around but mainly smaller on the left and right hand side with an average on both sides of 35mm away from the viewable end of the screen (not counting the bezel). If you try to set it up to have the screen covered 99.5% or100% as what shown in my photo's (the green edge adjust line) and the same showed on LG itself in You tube and spoken about on the net you have no choice but to bring the projector further away from the screen so your measurement of 550mm becomes 558MM. Yes a lousy 8MM make that much difference. What I have done is I have tried to keep the green adjust line all around the screen 2mm away from the bezel as if you allow the green line to touch the bezel you will get a slight green line around the wall that the screen hangs on and we don't want that. (actual usable screen size is 100.5 inch diagonal).
Any help guys would be appreciated.
In my dreams I say I would love to speak to an LG Engineer in Korea that worked on this Hecto project. I have more than two questions to ask

I tried the Service remote on my old LG 71SA1D's (both of them) and all I can say is I wished I had this remote years ago as before all I could access was EZ_ Adjust by using Menu Menu option but having the LG 105-201M remote now I was able for the first time to access IN_Start. WoW! that's all I'm saying. I Have adjusted adjustments that weren't available before mainly on the older of the two Lg LoCOS tv's.
Just wondering if there is a user guide or a manual for these Service remotes (LG 105-201M). I've done a little Googling but have come up with nothing so far. Do you think one is available, Some sites info says its available on purchasing some new LG tv's at the end of the Users manual.
