Settings/Software for Logging

I am having a play at logging to give myself a challenge and see what I can learn.

ATM logging for Select - I am using Ird_Extract with a seperator of 8240 and PID 0500

Not sure if the PID of 0501 is supposed to apply as I am sure I did see some reference here in this forum that this might apply.

Is anyone able to confirm PID 0500 or PID 0501 ?

Also any recommendations for a better logging program?

Your settings are correct. Separator = 8240 and either PID (0500, 0501) will work.

PID 0500 is giving me logs.

Nothing on 0501 ? Just curious.. why would this be so ?

Because the PID is 0500 not 0501

if you log on PID 500 what is the Emm id and Ecm id settings
just some thing i`ve came across but don`t understand what they stand for.
can any body help here.
