Getting 7025 to connect to logging s/w

As the title suggests, I am having trouble getting my 7025 to connect to logging software.
I am running LT4 image, but have tried PLI and Nabilosat.
I have tried IRD_LogExtract and some others. I enter the ip of the dreambox but they aint seem to connect.
Any tips?

I can't speak for a 7025 but a 7020 doesn't work and I reckon yours prob wont work either. A DM500 works fine.

I don't have a 7025 so I can't check but here is something to try. Apparently the 7025 does the streaming differently but you may be able to do what you're after with a file called streampes that has been compiled for the 7025.

Do a google search for 7025 31338 streampes

There should be a link to www.dream-multimedia-tv.de and a thread that has a file called tuxbox-stream.rar The streampes file is in it and has to go in /usr/sbin

If you have a look at the google search results there should also be a link to
www.keyteam-board.to and if you click on translate and go down the posts to the one that mentions streampes it seems to be saying that with streampes installed then a logger using port 31338 will work.

I found with my 7000 and 7020 (both serving but only themselves) that I had to stop the softcam (and newcs) before connecting. After connecting I could start the softcam (and newcs) again and the logger was still ok. Mosts posts I've seen have been with connecting the logger to a client.

You may need to reboot first because trying to connect with the softcam going seems to block the connection.

I have it going at the moment on my 7020 with PLI Iolite on USB and CCcam 2.0.9

The 7025 needed some files added to /sbin.

I still haven't tried what nexus suggested above. What files did you add out of curiosity?

Hello Guys
Can confirm this works a treat on dm7025 with gemini 3.50 most logging software will connect.
And for interest sakes goldy's now work in card slots with newcs_1.60.

Update this also will eventually crash enigma and the longer it runs the gears come up on the screen more and more frequent until it hangs.
Then a major reboot is required, must be a bug as it connects and logs beutifully.
