As ive tried to kick off a soccer thread a year or 2 ago with a few takers
all the while singing my jets

All i have to say now is

That was the most pathetic game i have ever seen.The amount of ball given away was amateurish to say the least and the pathetic referee not to see the deliberate hand ball at the end was without saying poor.

disapointed and worst is that espn will be doing a review so i can just imagine the bagging Tuesday night and can see how great the aussi game will look to the rest of the world when they see that it was supposed to be the two best teams and that was the quality.

I played for 25yrs and have coached for the last 10yrs and have a state license and can honestly say i have seen better local games

I have to agree...about one of the most boring games ever. I don't think the National coach ( who was there) would have seen any player good enough to bring into the Soccoroo squad. Pity really, so much hype, and promise...I was nearly nodding off, and I'm a soccer nerd.
