This is a UBI TP only?

For those watching through Globecast FTA on 12734V (a majority) will not have to worry I would say.

That cant be good news that UBI are taking over ERT.
How long will it stay FTA?
    Or
Does Prime Minister of Greece need to get money from Greeks abroad to help with financial crisis?

It will remain FTA, UBI are just replacing the FTA service Globecast used to do it will STAY FTA as shown on the ERT Site.

UBI currently broadcast Telepace, Kurdistan TV, SCTV, Aghapy TV, CTV, DMC, CYC, MRTV International, Tele Padre Pio and a few radio stations all FREE TO AIR and ERT will add to that suite of channels

UBI is not only a pay tv provider anymore they are a distributor of channels

Hey Lazer can you please do something about the UBI broadcast quality of ERT.
It has always been a much duller and daker picture than the Globecast transmission. Globecast was much brighter and vibrant.

Also, the new broadcast now has 2 white vertical lines on either side of the picture. For those who watch ERT on a large widescreen TV with output set at 16:9 and pillarbox for 4:3 material, you get to see those 2 white vertical lines enhanced which looks terrible.

If you watch ERT on an old 4:3 TV, the overscan crops this out, so you won't know it's there. The old ERT on 12734V didn't have those lines and the image was slightly wider. The UBI one has been slightly cropped horizontally for whatever reason.

UBI, could you please crop those vertical lines out?

Default FEC 3/4 for ERT on Optus D2?

Thanks for the info for ERT on Optus D2. I am trying to reset my in-laws' ERT channel. I have entered the 12608, 22500 and H but am not sure if I need to do something with the FEC 3/4 (have never setup a satellite channel before).
Is there anything else that I need to adjust?
    Thanks.

No matter. All sorted. Deleted the entire list of channels and started a fresh scan with the 12608 TP being the first one in the unit's list. With the order of frequencies, ERA5 pops up first and then ERT TV second but that's liveable for even the most stubborn of Greeks. That's good because I'll finally be left alone again.

Hello, I was wondering if someone could please help me clarify this, My parents had ERT broadcasting via Optus D3, With the new changes, I am unable to find any info on how to set the right frequencies for this? Looking at the frequencies above: 1. APSTAR2R (FORMER TELSTAR 10)
and 2. OPTUS D2 - don't seem to work when I enter them in. I went and reset the box and now I've lost all the channels ;( Doh!

I have an STGold ST-2000F, my location is Melbourne.

Please, can any sweet soul help me? Any kind of option/ direction please

    All the best, be blessed

Are you trying to tune both D3 and D2? If so, is it a motorised dish or a multiple LNB setup on a single dish?..... or, are you aligning a single dish?LNB to a single satellite, if so, which one?

Can you explain what you've done so far with dish/LNB alignment?

Hi Lazer, thanks for the guide looks great ...Only problem is I reset the receiver to factory setting That's how I lost all the channels originally, stupid thing to have done! I thought by resetting the box and starting from scratch might help ...Obviously Not. Any Idea where to go from here? - As in starting from scratch!

Hi mtv, thanks for your help too, as far as D2 or D3 are concerned, I only have B3, the box doesn't show D2 at all, It has D1 and many others but I can't find D2, it was originally on Optus B3 before I did the factory reset.

Also how can I check to let you know if it is a motorized dish or a multiple LNB setup on a single dish? Not too techie (Sorry)

So far I haven't done anything other than a factory reset.

I had a whole bunch of channels, RT News, Chinese, Christian, Turkish, etc channels & ERT which was the main one for my parents, the one I'm trying to get back.

Sorry for the lack of knowledge, I hope I've made some sense?

Thanks for your help so far ...Eagerly awaiting your reply guys

Optus D2 replaced Optus B3, so if you have Optus B3 in your satellite list, select that. Check your decoder manual how to rename it if you want to change the name.

The channels you mentioned are on D2, not D3, so unless you've moved the dish, it must have been pointing to D2.

You will need to enter the details for ERT as given by Lazer (below)

If your decoder has blind scan, you can use that to find all channels on that satellite.

I'm in the same boat as JustRight.
Did a factory reset after trying everything else to get ERT for the old man, and after that, i lost all channels. Nothing at all comes up even when i do a full rescan. Normally you'd rescan, and all the channels would start coming up, but this time nothing.

Lazers, guide is useless if you have done a factory reset.
