7Mate & GEM & One to go (for Syd, Mel, Bris, on Foxtel)

The HD channels......

Seeing as these are the only channels currently on that TP, does leave room for more stuff.

I'm not holding my breath.....as to "If & When" 7Mate, GEM, & One, will appear on the Foxtel satellite service.

After all they are HD channels, & require a bit of bandwidth

(But we can still hope its not far away...)

Its been a long & drawn out process Getting FTA channels on Satellite for Foxtel Subscribers in Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane...

Channel 9 was the only one, (First Commercial channel, on Foxtel Satellite) for quite a while, starting back in 2003 I think,

(& I think Kerry Packer may have had a hand in it......getting channel 100...(the first channel in the digital line up) instead of 109....

Also interesting is that 7TWO, & GO (on Foxtel for Syd, Mel, & Bris)

are broadcast in both Irdeto & Vidioguard

& ELEVEN is broadcast in Vidioguard Only, ATM

(channels 7, 9 & 10 on Foxtel for Syd, Mel, & Bris, are also broadcast in Videoguard only)
